Can you support students who have just moved to Dubai from the UK or another country?
Absolutely. We regularly work with learners who have moved mid-year & need to change to a different exam board or catch up on topics already covered by their new school. Whether your child is moving from AQA to Edexcel, or from a different international syllabus entirely, we carry out an initial analytical session to pinpoint exactly where they stand & build a study plan.
How many sessions per week does a typical A Level Maths student need?
This depends on the student's current level, the time left before their exams & if they are studying AS or full A Level. As a general guide, students in Year 12 with no immediate exam pressure benefit well from one lesson weekly focused on building concepts. Students in Year 13 approaching the May/June sitting usually transition to two sessions per week, merging topic work with past paper practice. We evaluate each student separately & recommend a schedule that is realistic & effective rather than one-size-fits-all.
Do you provide any online tutoring options for students who cannot travel to JLT?
Yes. We offer fully online one-to-one lessons for students who are in Al Warqa, Mirdif, Dubai Silicon Oasis & other areas across Dubai were travelling to our JLT center may not always be suitable. Online sessions use the same structured approach as face-to-face lessons, with shared visual aids, real time problem-solving & regular progress reports. Many families choose a hybrid approach of in-person & online sessions depending on the week.
Do you teach both Cambridge and Edexcel A Level Mathematics?
Yes. We provide full support for both Cambridge & Edexcel, including all AS & A2 components. If you are not sure which board your child's school follows, we can assist you to identify it.
